14/09/2009 Dr Poffo introduces his periareolar technique to Prof Pitanguy.

In April, Dr Poffo visited Prof Pitanguy's Plastic Surgery Clinic in Rio de Janeiro, where he explained his technique based on principles of plastic surgery. The results took the plastic surgeon by surprise, who could give some advice for the improvement of the technique based on his large experience. This technique, developed by Dr Poffo, is a novelty worldwide and uses the same type of incision employed in plastic surgeries for the implantation of silicone prostheses. Cardiovascular surgery done through the nipple gives a high priority to female aesthetics and reduces both trauma and recovery time.
